F. Zafar advises boards and executive leadership teams on governance and strategy as intelligent systems reshape institutional decision-making. His work centers on decision authority, accountability, and fiduciary discipline in environments where reliance on AI and automation is accelerating.

He held senior leadership roles at Bessemer Trust and AllianceBernstein, advising executive teams on enterprise transformation across strategy, operating models, and technology-enabled change. He began his career in management consulting at Booz Allen & Hamilton.

His perspective is shaped by formal study in corporate governance under Ira Millstein at Yale and by executive leadership within regulated fiduciary institutions. His work centers on stewardship—aligning innovation with mission, accountability, and enduring institutional value.

He holds an MBA and MS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University.
